“ If you want a place in the Byward Market to keep you accountable for healthy choices, Lollo is the spot. First off the coffee is so good with a good variety of choices. My go to is the farro salad with the tahini dressing. Great hearty vegan Chili is back with the colder weather. And the bone broth will warm you up and keep you going. Their salads are huge and worth every single penny. Cobb salad is my choice in that department. Hands down best place in the market for fresh and healthy eating. ”

I couldn’t finish the drink. I would come again for the latte! The Antipasto salad was very very nice. It was huge that I took a while to finish, and was full from it after. My friend has the Caesar salad which was also delicious. Good value for how much food and expensive fresh ingredients included. ”
“ I’ve had Lollo recommended to me many times by fellow salad enthusiasts, and I’m thrilled to report the praise was deserved! I ordered the Antipasto salad with a few additions, my wife ordered the Tuscan Harvest, and our two other party members created their own customized salads. We all loved them! The ingredients were crisp, fresh and tasted delicious. The house salad dressings were also REALLY good, so much so that we bought a bottle of the maple balsamic dressing to take home! I also wanted to give a special mention to the latte and matcha latte that we ordered, both of which were excellent. There was one snag with our service — we were told the kalamata olives didn’t have pits, but they actually did, which almost made one of our party members lose her crown by unexpectedly biting into it. However, the front end employee was working by herself running both the cash and serving customers, and was very busy, so I think she just forgot. She was very kind and did a great job otherwise. I’m definitely going to be returning to Lollo in the future to try more of their salads! ”
